Horses have an honest approach to helping aid people in emotional and physical healing.

Horses are highly sensitive animals that pick up on
connection, horses mirror your energy in a non-judgmental way that allows for deep emotional regulation and enhances self- awareness. This connection creates an opportunity for individuals to process their own feelings and trauma at their own pace.
Developing a relationship with horses also fosters empathy that allows us to learn, understand and respond to their needs and emotions.

Horses have heightened senses as they mirror our feelings and emotions; they respond to non-verbal cues and energy. This mirroring response helps individuals become more aware of their own emotional state and creates mindfulness. Connecting with a horse in this mindful state encourages individuals to be present in the moment while cultivating awareness of thoughts, sensations, and surroundings.

Engaging with horses involves physical activities such as grooming, leading or riding, learning groundwork as well as supervised feeding and chore responsibilities. Participation in some or all these activities can promote physical health, emotional regulation, encourage responsibility and enhance overall well-being.

Working with horses builds confidence, trust, communication, and problem-solving skills. It also strengthens empathy and supports healthy relationships with others.
